The Open Forum took place in the Carriageworks, immediately after the EGM.

>11 December 2006 The next Guild quiz will be in the bar and Cos. are hosting it, from 7.30pm.

> The Guild Executive are setting up a working party to look at publicity within the Guild. The first meeting will be arranged for mid January & they would like all Guild Societies to be represented. Your representative's contact details, name, address, phone number & email address should be sent to Carolyn Craven by 20 December at the latest. The aim is to maximise the marketing & publicity opportunities within the Carriageworks & the Leeds area.

> Next deadline for the Carriageworks "What's On" is sooner than we were originally told - now 1st February.

> The Guilds societies allocation for dates in the CWX are almost ready, for the 2007-2008 season. As soon as you receive your dates you should send in your booking forms to the Carriageworks with ALL the sessions you will need, incl set-ups, tech's etc. It was suggested that Societies could send a copy of their forms to the Guild Executive to assist with any joint publicity (such as this website)

> Mary Martin must be told of your room booking requests AND any cancellations you want to make asap please.

> The Guild Executive recently found out that the 2.5% charged by the CWX on Box Office sales is plus VAT, and that there's a 1.5% credit card charge as well.

> Workshop - Society reps are to be invited to a meeting in the workshop to discuss & sort any issues. Date tba

> Seating in Main Auditorium - Row A is so close to the front of the stage, that the CWX management decided that it will not normally make them available for sale. Societies had not been made aware of this beforehand, so please inform your committees.

> Space previously used in the Town Hall by the Guild for furniture renovation is no longer available to the Guild. Guild Exec are waiting to hear back from R Porter, and will report back.

> Societies are reminded that Risk Assessments must be done re their scenery.

> All Guild societies are reminded that they MUST inform the Guild Secretary, E Postill, of any changes to their officers/committee contacts - and please include email addresses/addresses/telephone numbers etc.

> The Guild Trophy cabinet has finally been installed in the Carriageworks theatre, on level 1.

> Societies should contact P Waddicor (Technical Coordinator, Carriageworks theatre) a minimum of one month before they are due in theatre. They should also contact the workshop committee 4-6 weeks before they are in theatre, especially if they need the Guild radio mics.
